EUROPEAN TOUR
I’m excited to announce that May/June 2018 I’ll be heading to Europe!
I was lucky enough to be asked to be a part of this tour with
Leela Gilday and couldn’t be more excited.
Alongside MJ Dandeneau and Sibi Gaskin I’ll be backing up Leela
throughout the Netherlands, Germany and Austria.
JACKSON MILES WINS WEDDING AWARD
Jackson miles took home ‘best wedding band’ award in 2017 which means
this summer is packed for them. Thanks to Peter and Jason for having
me on board for a large number of their gigs coming up in 2018.
GRACE LACHANCE AND I AM SNOW ANGEL
“I am Snow Angel” from Manhattan came up to Ottawa to record Grace Lachance.
After laying down some cool grooves I want to thank Grace, Julie and
Pebble Studios have having me as part of this cool recording project.
NEW CANADIAN DATES
Alberta, BC, Nunavut, Northwest Territories Ontario and Quebec are all
on part of the new dates for July/August 2018. Check out my ‘dates’ page for shows
CHARLIE MAJOR
Over the past several years I have hiring myself out to bands, studio
musicians and musical productions of all types and genres. As a child I
grew up listening and studying many types of music but country music has
always had a special place in my heart. So as you can imagine, I was
pretty excited when Canadian country icon ‘Charlie Major’ called me in
need of a fill in drummer. Not only was it an honour to play for an act
like Mr. Major but it also gave me the opportunity to meet many of country
music’s finest musicians.
AMANDA RHEAUME
Amanda Rheaume, an amazing singer/ songwriter has been a good friend of
mine for many years. Not only is Amanda the web designer for this site,
but Amanda and I have once again reunited forces in the nations capitol.
Watch for us this year to bring Amanda’s well written folk/roots music to
a new level with the captivating percussion and drum grooves.
CATHERINE DUNN
Ireland’s best selling author ‘Catherine Dunne’ came to Canada the summer
of 2010 to promote her new book “Missing Julia”. What better way to
promote a Irish author, than to have some traditional Celtic music! Thanks
to Catherine, I was able to join well known fiddle player ‘Virginia
Schwartz’ and a group of European authors on their book tour. Although
this was a different setting than the shows I am normally used to, it was
a great experience and challenge playing at book signings and university
readings.
SILVER CREEK
Throughout 2009/2010 Silver Creek’s drummer Shane Mcewan decided to follow
up on his studies at University, which meant touring was out of the
question at the time. Considering I had recorded the bands first album, it
was a good fit for me to cover Shane on Silver Creek’s Canadian tour. We
logged some serious miles, laughs and sleepless nights. These guys are a
wicked band and definitely something to watch out for.
